Sam’s Blog

Well, as everyone already knows, I got into a car accident.  Car is gone now, so I’m back to driving my old Saturn that Jack gave me a few years back.  I’ve pretty much cleared all my credit cards, so now I get to save the money I earn!  I just paid off a credit card about 2 weeks back.  When I checked it today, I found out that they upped my credit limit from $500 to $2000.  Don’t get me wrong though, I’m not gonna use it, but its nice to just have it, haha.  Maybe my credit is a little better now?  I’m also glad I got to pay back some people that lent me money when I was in a pinch.  It feels good!

I’ve been off work for a little over a month.  With NO pay, but I get to start tomorrow! Let the money grinding begin!  Ended my last day of freedom by going to the San Diego Wild Animal Park (even though the stupid place isn’t in SD).  I had fun even though we kept back tracking because we kept getting lost.  Ended the day with some all you can eat sushi.  This also concludes my bad eating habits.  I gained like 10+ pounds over the time I haven’t been to work.  So sad.  Oh well, it was fun to eat whatever I wanted, now its back to work!

So I headed to Vegas with Peter, Alan, and Tim on Friday.  Got there around 2am Saturday morning.  The room was pretty big, we stayed in a suite at the Palazo.  It was pretty funny because one of the guys there was an angry drunk and he was trying to pick fights with everyone.  He was standing at the elevator being held up by 2 of his buddies.  A stranger comes by and says, “having fun?” and the drunk responds, “I’ll show you fun with my fists!”  We just so happened to run into Er and Kevin during our stay too.  Anyways, didn’t really do too much, just relaxed, swam, and gambled a little.

Then we went camping.  Check out my facebook for pictures.  We were only there for a day because they couldn’t hang.  Weakk!!  Susanna, Jennifer and I slept in the Palazo suite tent, while Amy and Mike slept at the Circus Circus tent.  Alan slept on the bench and got attacked by bugs so he ran into the car.  In the morning, we went to hike at the Red Rock trails.  Only went like 30 minutes into the trail and then had to leave because our parking permit expires.  It was a short trip, but fun still.  Oh ya, we played Monopoly and I killed them all so bad.. they didn’t even stand a chance.

Thursday is Vegas again!  I can’t wait.

Today was a gloomy day.  And that seemed to have pissed off alot of people.  Everyone and their moms were dicks today.  To each other, to me, to my coworkers.  Geez, you guys are NOT working, take a chill pill.  Sometimes I wish I could slap the customers.

So I’ve never been a really big Star Trek fan.  Besides the movie that I watched yesterday, the only time I’ve seen the show was when I was flipping channels and just skimmed through it for like 1 sec.   But I must say, this movie was bad ass!  I liked it, there has not been a good movie out for a long while.

Life has been pretty busy lately.  Been trying to think of a place to go for our 5 year anniversary!  I keep trying to put aside money, but I always end up spending it all.  Argggg.. 

I got to spend some time with Susanna today!  We decided to eat at Cheese Cake Factory, but instead we went to Wood Ranch Bbq.  It was pretty tastey and Susanna treated me! =)  Then we took a quick stroll around the mall and ended at  Sephora.  The mall closed and we left. 

I haven’t been lifting any weights lately  because of my elbow and shoulder.  But my elbow seems like its starting to heal, so that means I’m gonna start lifting again.  I just borrowed Jacky’s forearm workout thing a ma bob that I’ve never seen before.  I think it works, because my forearms are burning as I type.

I’ve started to go to this flipping gym in Northridge.  Here are a couple of clips of what I’ve been working on. (recorded by my awesome camera that Sus bought me!!)

A little update on my life and the things that are going on. 

So I’ve been trying to go hiking at least once a week.  Here are a couple of shots of the trail when I went with Susanna and friends last Sunday.

Yesterday was Jason’s bday.  We went to eat and then went to ding dong along… or soemthing lol  Anyways, Susanna and I sang the Aladin song, again.. I believe thats 3 in a row?  Yet I think I sing worse and worse… but Susanna sings like an angel!!!…of death.. LOL =) I’m just kidding!!!! hahaha (I bet I made you giggle Susanna!)

Alright off to work… so sad.. while Susanna gets to stay at home and relax.  Unfair.

I think I’m learning a little bit everyday.  Not academic wise, but about life.  For example, yesterday.  While I was driving, a van cut me off and then flipped me off for like 30 seconds.  Just letting my anger get the best of me, I cut the van back off and then slammed the brakes.  My car swerved a little because of how fast I slowed down on the freeway as well as the van behind me.  I was content that I got my revenge until last night when I went to bed.  What if that van got into an accident?  Just because someone was being an ass to me didn’t give me the right to be an ass back.  I need to watch my temper.  I see all these jerks all over the place, and I don’t want to be one of them.

I like to complain about things just for the sake of talking, but deep down, I don’t really mind it anymore.  An example is work.  I always hear people complain (myself included) but then again, at least you HAVE a job.  There’s alot of people that NEED jobs but can’t get it.  Complaining about the food that you have to eat, or the clothes on your back.  I know there are people that would be happy if they had ANY of that stuff.  I don’t know if everyone is like me, but I sure complained alot, but hopefully I can keep my mouth shut from now on (unless I feel like talking =P)

Only a couple of months until its vacation time!  I needa lose weight fast!  AHHHH running out of time!!!!!

So I’ve started a savings to fund my anniversary trip!  This is to make up for last year also, since Sus speant it with me stuck at home recovering.  I think I was good to go out, but I was being held hostage.  Anyways, doesn’t look like things will go according to plan because I just assumed that there will be trips available year round, guess not.  I have my vacation hours saved up too!  Now gotta get into shape and it will be all good!

My shoulder and elbow have been jacked up for awhile now.  So I’ve been slacking on the gym thing, and I’ve been eatting my the mountain load….Haven’t figured out a workout routine.  Gonna hit the gym with Jake tomorrow morning.

Needa get a memory card for my camera!  Then I will start snapping away.  My jacket just fell off my chair and scared the shit out of me.  Freaky!

Done…. and ps… the internet sucks ass once again.  If there are no games to play on it, it is not fun.. then again when I played wow, it wasn’t fun, it was more like work… I had to do it… Tried to play Street Fighter 4 online, but I get raped.  So sad… Okay… night..

A few individuals at Costco are going through some traggic times right now.  Its true that people think they will live forever, but never take it forgranted.  You only get one shot at life, so make it count.

RIP for all the one’s that lost their lives in the month of March.  And I hope their families are okay as well.  Even though I did not attend the funerals, my heart goes out to each and every one of them.
